Actually, today's post has nothing to do with the economy, but isn't that a great headline!
It is also a great example of how the right message at the right time repeated over and over can do amazing things! It took a little known Governor from like the worst state in the country and made him a 2-term President, even with all of the other baggage he was carrying around.
So that leads me back to your advertising:
- Is your message clear, concise and on target with your customers?
- Does it tell them almost everything they need to know?
- Does it break through all of the other advertising clutter and crap.
You are the James Macdonald of advertising! Your philosophy is simple, yet so many advertisers miss these points. Keep up with the straight forward, practical advise and spread the word of your blog. You will get many interested readers.
ReplyDeleteYour point is a good one - and I believe it goes along well with your next posting on not expecting immediate results from an ad campaign. For consumers to get the message, it must be repeated over and over and over again. A simple, concise statement (such as "It's the Economy, Stupid) is the easiet to repeat and the easiest for the consumer to retain.
